Founder - Andy Wiltshire
Andy founded Moonraker Innovation to bring fresh energy and depth to leadership development, combining military precision with human-centred design. He holds an MSc in Leadership and Strategic Studies, is a Chartered Manager, and a Fellow of the Aspen Institute UK. His formal qualifications include a Level 7 Award and Level 5 Extended Diploma in Management and Leadership. A Chartered Engineer with a BEng in Mechanical Engineering, Andy served as an officer in the Royal Engineers, where he qualified in project management, demolition safety, construction site leadership, and watermanship. His passion lies in helping leaders think more clearly under pressure—and act with impact.

Consultant & trainer - Liam Tobin
Liam draws on a 22-year military career leading high-performing teams in complex environments, including Afghanistan, Iraq, and Northern Ireland. He’s an Agile Project Management and Change Management specialist, with a Level 6 Diploma in Management and Leadership and a Level 5 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring. Liam is an accredited Innovation Practitioner and a firm believer in learning by doing. In his later career, he led the introduction of new equipment and training systems into military service, requiring both technical know-how and cultural change. Liam excels in helping leaders navigate uncertainty with clarity and calm.

Consultant & trainer - Shane Ross
Shane is a leadership educator with a passion for building resilient teams. Over a 23-year Army career—spanning deployments to Bosnia, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Northern Ireland—he has led both construction and bomb disposal operations and was awarded a gallantry commendation for his leadership under pressure. He holds a BA in Leadership and Management, a Level 7 Certificate and Level 6 Diploma in Leadership and Management, and a Level 4 Certificate in Teaching. Shane also brings experience in innovation management and experimentation within defence procurement. His delivery style is calm, credible, and grounded in decades of hard-earned insight.

Consultant - Ben Turner
Ben’s academic background in Politics and International Relations sparked his deep interest in how organisations function, evolve, and lead. He holds both a Level 7 Award and a Level 5 Extended Diploma in Management and Leadership. In the Army, Ben managed operations for large organisations, applying a data-driven and systems-oriented approach. He brings a rare blend of strategic thinking and operational discipline, further strengthened by qualifications in construction safety, demolition, and watermanship from the Royal Engineers. Ben also brings creative flair—he won the MOD’s digital innovation hackathon and runs his own woodworking business on the side.

Consultant & trainer - Angus Neate
Angus is an experienced operational leader with a background in engineering, international advisory work, and team development. He holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Leadership and Strategic Studies and is currently studying to upgrade this to a full MSc. He also holds a Level 7 Award and Level 5 Extended Diploma in Management and Leadership, alongside formal military qualifications in demolition safety, construction leadership, and watermanship. His Army career included deployments across Africa and the Middle East, where he ran international training teams and served as a strategic advisor to the Armed Forces of Somalia. Angus is passionate about team psychology and what drives group performance—on the field and in the workplace.

Consultant & trainer - Dave Hawksworth
Dave is a leadership development specialist with a strong focus on resilience, planning, and performance under pressure. He holds a BA in Public Policy and Management and a Level 7 Award in Management and Leadership, alongside a suite of military qualifications in construction safety, watermanship, and explosive demolition.
He has deployed on two recent UN missions, delivering multi-million dollar cost-saving initiatives in Somalia and leading diplomatic engagement with Turkish forces in Cyprus—work that earned him the Lord Fellowes Humanitarian Award. A former Royal Engineers operations manager and training developer, Dave brings sharp strategic thinking and grounded delivery to every session.
